Delivery driver stabbed, carjacked still completes order

Josh Lewis, a 25-year-old pizza delivery driver for Spinellie’s Pizza in Louisville, was stabbed in the back and carjacked during a delivery to Norton Hospital on Sunday.Lewis managed to complete a pizza delivery before he collapsed.

Willow Rouben, regional manager for Spinelli’s Pizzeria,said”Believe it or not, he got his pizzas delivered and collapsed in the ER.”

Police said Josh Lewis was attacked when he arrived at Norton Hospital in downtown Louisville.Lewis was walking from his car to the hospital when he was stabbed in the back. The assailant then took Lewis’ Jeep Cherokee and left the scene.

A Louisville Metro police department spokesman says officers are still looking for the suspect and Lewis’ truck.

After such a harrowing experience, one thing’s for certain — Lewis had better be named employee of the month.
